If it\u2019s caught in the early stages, then removing the infection may simply require a few extra visits to our office so we can remove the built-up plaque and tartar on an ongoing basis. For moderate stages of this infection, scaling and root planing becomes necessary. Again, this requires several appointments to complete. Following each visit, you may feel some sensitivity. The best thing you can do is implement a solid oral hygiene routine and do your best to avoid unhealthy dental habits to prevent the infection from resurfacing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Veneers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to correct misshapen, discolored, misaligned, or otherwise imperfect teeth, then veneers are one of the best options! Similar to dental crowns, the process will begin with preparing your teeth, taking impressions for the dental lab, and providing you with a temporary set.
