Meet Dr. Jaclyn Ridder
Dr. Jaclyn Ridder was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana and completed her undergraduate coursework at DePauw University. During her time there, she participated in four years of varsity soccer and was an active student on campus. She graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in biology.
She then enrolled at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she completed her studies in 2013. During dental school, Dr. Ridder held many leadership positions, including serving four years on the Student Professional Conduct Committee, on the Test Review Committee, and as a Student Instructor for second year dental students. She also helped organize her class's annual contributions to the National Children's Oral Health Foundation.
Dr. Ridder spent several years during dental school researching orthodontics, for which she was awarded the ADA/Dentsply International Student Clinician Award in 2011.She was also recognized by Omicron Kappa Upsilon as the Most Outstanding Senior, was awarded the Dr. Tillman E. Miller Award for clinical achievements, and was voted to receive the Maynard K. Hine award, given to the senior dental student who displays the highest level of professionalism.
Dr. Ridder is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association. She is dedicated to providing the best quality dental care for her patients and strives to create a relaxed dental atmosphere where patients can learn about their oral health and treatment options.
During her free time, she enjoys biking, painting, and cooking. Dr. Ridder and her husband, Bobby, share their home with their golden retriever.
